“That is a lovely place to live…”
After 25 years of living in a spacious unit at Epping with my husband, and now being on my own, I knew that the time had come for a change. My doctor had recommended “assisted living” so, with the assistance and support of my daughters, I found Leisure Lea Gardens. Before I had even seen the unit my family had put a “hold” on the unit as they were so impressed after just the initial visit. Juliet couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful. The unit was spacious and light, and like my family, I was also very impressed. I was pleasantly surprised when I found that I was able to bring my own furniture etc which has helped with feeling “at home”. Juliet arranged everything, even the removalist, which made the move as easy as possible.
I have now been here five months and feel I am settling in well. Linda, always there to help in any way, as well as the friendly helpful staff have made the transition so much easier. The residents are also very happy and friendly and whenever you mention to anyone that you live at Leisure Lea Gardens you always receive the same response – “That is a lovely place to live and everyone is so friendly”. As hard as the move was, I am very pleased that we found Leisure Lea Gardens and that I now call it home.
