Mum is happy and safe
After losing Dad two years ago and with Mum’s health not the best, my sister and I were faced with the rather daunting situation of what would be best for mum regarding where to live as she no longer wanted to remain in her unit. We felt that it was very important that Mum be in an environment where she would feel safe and happy, with assistance being available if needed.
Leisure Lea Gardens at Marsfield appeared very interesting online and more what we were looking for with the assisted living option. I rang up on a Friday, spoke to Juliet and arranged to meet her the next day to look at a unit. Juliet couldn’t have been more welcoming or helpful.
The unit was spacious and light with a large living area, a kitchenette, a generous sized bedroom with ensuite bathroom. Mum saw it the next day and signed on the dotted line. Juliet, Linda and the staff were so warm and helpful when mum moved in – and still are!
Mum has been living at Leisure Lea Gardens for approximately 18 months. She has found the staff and residents exceptionally friendly and helpful which has made the transition so much easier. For my sister and me it is a huge relief that she is happy and can remain semi-independent with help at hand if needed. You only hear positive comments in the community any time you mention Leisure Lea Gardens. I cannot speak highly enough of them and highly recommend them.
