Retirees have certainly embraced the new standard of retirement living on offer at Living Choice Woodcroft with 24 homes sold since Living Choice purchased the village in May last year and a further three reserved at the village’s Open Day on 5th March.
The Open Day attracted more than 150 visitors who were keen to see the progress that had been made since the village became part of the Living Choice family. Visitors were impressed with the high level of reinstatement in the pre-loved homes that were on show and were similarly impressed with the plans of the new 2 and 3 bedroom homes under construction. Great incentives are currently being offered to those who move into a new home by 30th September 2016.
Village manager Lenore Trenorden said there had been lots of favourable feedback and she praised the team of 20 Resident Ambassadors who had a very busy day touring visitors through the village and displays, as well as serving them Morning Tea.
“Our residents are so supportive and together, we make a very happy team. We’ve had a steady stream of enquiries since the Open Day too so it has been a very exciting time,” she added.
Lenore, the Living Choice team and the residents are already planning the next Open Day, on Thursday 5th May, when a Ground-Breaking Ceremony will be held to celebrate the commencement of construction of the multi-million dollar leisure centre.
The two-storey leisure centre will be unrivalled in the area and will include an auditorium with dance floor and stage, residents’ bar and kitchen, indoor heated pool, library and computer room, hair salon, consulting rooms for visiting medical professionals, billiards and cards areas, craft room, gymnasium and residential apartments.
