More than 470 residents from Living Choice’s five NSW villages signed up for the NSW Spring Fair held at the Davistown RSL & Bowls Club on 3rd November. It was a day of fun and friendly rivalry and also showcased the residents’ many and varied talents.
Organised by National Operations Manager, Christine Osgood, Accounts/Administration Assistant, Leanne Maini and an army of resident helpers, the activities included bowls, a champagne coin toss, horse shoe chucking, quoits, disc bowls, rummikub, euchre, trio-ominos, washer tossing, golf putting, bingo, trivia, speed dating, bash the rat, bocce, 8 Ball, colouring-in plus displays of amazing art, photography, craft and woodwork.
Broadwater Court Head Gardener, Josh Montague, was a huge hit as the MC and town crier and the music students from Kincumber High School also provided wonderful entertainment throughout the day. Residents donated delicious home-made cakes, biscuits and slices for the Morning and Afternoon Tea and everyone also enjoyed a BBQ lunch and complimentary drinks.
Fabulous prizes were sponsored by Harvey Norman Commercial, John Hull Electrical, Galley Kitchens, Barry Smith Garage Doors, GJC Electrical, Crainy’s Carpets, Kincumber Glass, Jenkins Plumbing, Blooms Chemist and The Cleaning Shop.
