If you thought High Tea at The Ritz in London was an indulgent experience, then you have never enjoyed “Luxe Hi-Tea” at Living Choice Fullarton!
Recently, the residents arranged their version of a “high tea” in the beautifully decorated auditorium and it was a fabulous event, attracting 70 residents and their friends, including a visitor from the UK.
One of the organisers, Helen Bonet, said they were most proud of their cake stands which were all made in the Studio by the Happy Crafters. “We went on an Op Shop tour and purchased all the glass plates of various sizes and also tiny liqueur glasses. With the help of some glass glue we made 14 very sturdy and attractive cake stands.”
The scrumptious food was supplied by the on-site restaurant, Damien on Fisher and guests were welcomed with a glass of bubbly to add extra sparkle to the occasion.
Village manager, Angela Trevor, paid tribute to the hardworking team who arranged the event. “There’s so much to do behind the scenes to make an event like this so successful. Well done from all those who attended.”
