Living Choice was invited to take part in the Sunshine Coast Retirement Villages Expo held at the Maroochy RSL Club on 5th and 6th March and it attracted plenty of visitors, keen to find out the latest information on retirement living.
Organiser Nick Willoughby of Dorsal Media said 477 people visited the expo over the two days, proving the demand for quality retirement living accommodation on the Sunshine Coast. Nick said 54% of the attendees indicated they would be buying into a village within the next 12 months and 93% owned their own home.
There were 9 exhibitors at the expo and the Living Choice stand had a prime position. Even better, two residents joined our sales consultant each day and the visitors really appreciated being able to talk to them about what life is really like in a retirement village. Thelma Richardson and Dorothy Blythe joined Suzi Morland on the first day and Brenton Jarrett and Helen Chalk assisted Suzie Gray on the second day.
Each visitor to the Living Choice stand received an information pack and bag and all those who completed an entry form went in the draw to win a $500 Myer voucher and hamper. Congratulations to the winners, Harry and Sue Vizer of Mount Coolum, who collected their prize at our Twin Waters village on Wednesday.
