Following the successful launch of Living Choice Home Care on the Central Coast in late 2017, Living Choice residents in Sydney were delighted to hear last week that Living Choice Home Care is expanding to Leisure Lea Gardens and Glenhaven.
Tim Bentley, Living Choice’s General Manager (Central Coast & Qld) has been tasked with rolling out the Home Care program throughout the group and he and Living Choice Case Manager, Corrina Kearney, addressed residents at Living Choice’s Sydney villages on Thursday 14th June. There was an excellent turnout, with more than 130 residents attending the presentation at Glenhaven and 60 at Leisure Lea Gardens.
Tim said the Home Care support services would enable Living Choice residents to live independently in their homes for longer. “As an Approved Provider, Living Choice Home Care can support residents in their homes, either through a Government subsidy or on a user-pays basis. If you are not eligible for a Home Care Package, you can still access Living Choice Home Care services at competitive rates. Our goal is to provide more hours of care than traditional Home Care Providers and ensure consistency and continuity from initial contact to service delivery.”
Corrina outlined the types of services available, including domestic assistance, transport, shopping, personal care and nursing services.
