Kawana Island golfers fly the flag for Living Choice

Living Choice is a long-time supporter of Veterans’ Golf at Headland Golf Club, sponsoring its annual QLD Vets’ tournament, the Living Choice Classic, for many years. This year, Living Choice stepped up its support of the Veterans’ section, sponsoring the club’s monthly Vets’ tournament, which is now known as the “Living Choice Sizzle Day”.

The first tournament was held in January and Living Choice was represented by Twin Waters residents, Janice Olley and Marie Christensen. Kawana Island village golfers, Susan Lowrie and Stan Foote, played in the February tournament, held on Tuesday 13th February, and were asked to present the prizes to the winners. Susan said they had a great time and although they did not win, they thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The winners were:

  • Ladies Div 1 winner - Sue Jones;
  • Ladies Div 2 winner - Coralie Snowball;
  • Men’s Div 1 winner - Jon Welch.

Twin Waters residents, Ruth Greene and Sue Tomlinson, will represent Living Choice at the next Living Choice Sizzle Day, which will be held on 13th March. Veteran golfers from Keperra will also visit that day.
