Fullarton to “go green” on St Patrick’s Day

Everyone loves traditional Irish dancing and a good Irish joke and there will be plenty of both on offer at the St Patrick’s Day Celebration at Living Choice Fullarton on 17th March.

Organised by the residents, members of the public are welcome to attend this fun event which will feature dancing by the Miller School of Irish Dancing and the Adelaide Academy of Irish Dance.

Both schools have earned many accolades over the years. At the Miller School, there have been many State, National and International titles won in solo and team events. The school is registered with the Irish Dance Commission based in Dublin and is also under the umbrella of the Australian Irish Dancing Association.

The Adelaide Academy of Irish Dance is celebrating its 50th year of operation this year. Many of the dancers performing at Living Choice Fullarton hold State Championship titles and have placed high in the Australian Championships. Some have also travelled overseas to compete on the world stage. The dancers are members of Celtic Reflections Irish Dance Troupe, Adelaide’s premier dance troupe in the contemporary style of Riverdance and Lord of the Dance.

The dancing performances will be held at 11.30am and 1.30pm and there will also be an Irish Joke Contest, light refreshments and an Irish movie for those who wish to stay longer.

Tickets cost $15 and bookings close on 11th March – phone 1800 055 749 for more details.
