Fullarton residents and clients embrace Irish celebration

(Report by Carmel Hogan)

There was a celebration of Irish culture, music and dance at Living Choice Fullarton on St Patrick’s Day and, once again, the popular annual event, attended by both residents and clients, was a great success.

Guests arrived wearing masses of “green” and the day commenced with Morning Tea amidst lots of chatter. Students from The Cashel School performed a beautiful display of Irish dancing, followed by a sing-a-long of favourite Irish songs and, of course, a few jokes were included.

Lunch was served, followed by the dancers from The Adelaide Academy and The Miller School of Irish Dancing. We enjoyed both traditional and contemporary dance displays throughout the day and received many messages of appreciation from those who attended.

Our MC, Helen Bonet, was again superb. She has a wonderful gift, being able to effortlessly make people feel welcome and at ease at our functions at Living Choice Fullarton. We are so grateful for her expertise.

Our very sincere thanks and appreciation to Living Choice Australia for the sponsorship given, assisting us to provide such a great day.
