Chinese visitors impressed with Fullarton

A group of 44 excited members of the Jinling University of Senior Citizens in Nanjing, China visited Living Choice Fullarton on Saturday 27th May. They received a warm welcome from Village and Sales Manager, Angela Trevor and Resident Ambassadors Gill Miller, Raelene Olbrich and Don Hogan. They were particularly impressed that Gill could speak Cantonese!

The visit was arranged by Xi Chen of Bunnik Travel in Adelaide, who regularly hosts tour groups from China. “Thank you so much for your time to show us around the stunning property – everyone was very impressed with the high standard and quality lifestyle of Australian retirement living,” said Xi.

He added that many members of the group had children living in Australia and he was sure they would share their photos with the other members of the university. The “Jinling University for Senior Citizens” is similar to the University of the Third Age (U3A) in Australia, but with 10,000 students, a 14 storey building and enviable resources!

Angela said the group had a connection with U3A in Brisbane and did annual trips to Australia and also from Australia to China. “The tour was really lovely. They were all so excited and very impressed – and even invited me to visit!”
