Just two months after being crowned the 2016 South Australian Development of the Year at the Property Council of Australia’s Innovation and Excellence Awards, Living Choice Fullarton has won another prestigious award.
The Master Builders’ Association in South Australia held its annual Building Excellence Awards last weekend and Living Choice Fullarton was declared the winner in the Retirement Living/Aged Care category.
According to the judges, “Living Choice Australia has achieved an excellent build from all aspects. Both the internal and external finishes are of the highest quality, and their attention to detail is outstanding. This entry stood out from all others in this category. It is truly a worthy award recipient”.
Project Manager Renato Obbiettivo, Living Choice Building Designer Craig Eyles and Sales Manager, Angela Trevor accepted the trophy in front of nearly 1,000 people at the Adelaide Convention Centre.
Master Builders SA Chief Executive Officer, Ian Markos, said the awards represented the vitality and talent of one of the State’s core industries.
“Tonight’s awards show the incredible depth within the South Australian building sector. We are seeing big national companies succeed, but we are also seeing smaller home-grown enterprises being recognised not for being South Australian, but for being the best in the business.”
Chairman of Judges, Hardy Milazzo’s Graham Hardy, said the extensive judging process had revealed some of the exceptional work done by the State’s building industry. “Every stage of judging these awards called upon multiple judges as a check and balance against any one judge’s beliefs and interests,” he said.
In November 2015, Living Choice Fullarton was also named as the State’s Best Senior Living Project at the 2015 UDIA (2015) Awards for Excellence.
Living Choice Director, Ian Tregoning, said he was very proud of his in-house design and construction team for their achievements in creating the multi award-winning retirement resort.
“I would personally like to thank all members of the design and construction team for their inspiration, devotion and dedication. The exceptional design has encouraged the creation of a vibrant and happy village and the shared spaces, especially the restaurant and coffee shop, have facilitated wonderful interaction with the outside community.”
